MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I hope you all had a VERY Merry Christmas! We surely did! We went to Mississippi Wednesday and came back late Sunday night. We had a great time in Mississippi, although it was a quick trip. Santa brought Paisley some great things, which included Butterscoth pony, An Easel, a Furr Real friends Chimp, A MagnaDoodle, A Barbie car complete with a Barbie and a French Bulldog Love on a Leash. She was a good girl!!

Welcome Nester Tour of Homes! This is my Nutcracker Collection. I have about 30 total. I LOVE them!!! This is my gigantic one above that I bought from Hobby Lobby. I usually receive many of these as gifts for Christmas each year. Below is probably my favorite. I call her Taylor Swift. My mama bought her from Target. She is bedazzled and so cute!!
My mama also bought me this one at Kohl's. Isn't he cute?? He is my Hotty Toddy Nutcracker.
This is my last favorite. My best friend Amy bought me this one. He is sooooo cute!! He is completely sequined and I just LOVE him!!

These are a few more in my window sill that I just love. For some reason, they make me so happy!!
This is a hutch in my dining room. I love Santa and Mistletoe!!
Above is my Fontanini collection that my parents started me in high school. These are the most beautiful nativity scenes ever. One day, I hope I have a room full of this stuff!! It is plastic, so Paisley can play with it, which I love!

SHOW US YOUR LIFE...CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS!

MY TOP 10 FAVORITE CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS!!
1. Festigoody! We have an awesome Christmas Party at our house every year that we named Festigoody (since our last name is Goode). We celebrate the holidays with all of our closest friends....I LOVE IT!!! We always have the craziest Dirty Santa gift exchange that gets completely out of hand! So fun!
2. I LOVE making a gingerbread house with Paisley and Stephen. I cheat every year and buy a kit from Costco! It is so much easier and so fun!
3. I have close to 30 nutcrackers that I decorate my kitchen in every year.
I. LOVE. NUTCRACKERS! They are so cute and different. And unique.
4. Paisley has a pink tree that I found at Big Lots. I love decorating it because it is so girly and cute. The topper is Hello Kitty. It is fabulous.
5. I LOVE watching as many Christmas movies as possible during December. My favorites would have to be Christmas Vacation, Elf, The Holiday, Four Christmases, Miracle on 34th Street, Gremlins, Just Friends, and Love Actually.
6. I seriously start playing Christmas music in October. My favorites are BB King and Harry Connick, Jr.
7. Samaritan's Purse has some of the neatest Christmas gifts. I LOVE to buy things off of this website and give them in honor of someone. This is a great place to buy something for the person who has everything!
8. I love people who go ALL out decorating their homes. I love yards that have TONS of lights and get totally carried away. If that is what Christmas means to you and you have fun doing it, then go for it!! I love to ride around and look at Christmas lights!!
9. At home in Mississippi on Christmas Eve, my mama makes tons of appetizers and my daddy calls all the children and plays Santa Claus. We also go visit old neighbors and people who have lost loved ones throughout the year. It is so fun and good for the soul.
10. Last but not least, I love hearing my daddy read from Luke about the birth of Christ. As wrapped up in Christmas as we all become, my parents always taught us to remember the true meaning of Christmas!! Happy Holidays!

SPEAKING OF GRIFFIN....

Well, he is definitely a BOY!! I am so excited!! I can't wait to hold that little monkey!!

CHRISTMAS IS HERE....YIPEE!!!

I am so glad that CHRISTMAS IS HERE!!!! We had a great weekend with my parents. Sadly, my sister and her family did not get to come to Nashville. They had three sick kids with strep throat. However, we did plenty of eating, shopping, and decorating. We also moved Paisley out of the nursery and upstairs to her "Big Girl Room." We started decorating the nursery for Griffin...It looks so different with all that blue! Ha! I cannot wait for him!! I feel like I accomplished greatness this weekend (with the help of my parents and husband, of course!)
We decorated both trees, all outside lights, put up all of my Nutcrackers, finished 1/3 of my Christmas shopping, and also purchased a treadmill for my Christmas present. It is so nice!! I love it!! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
PS- The only bummer was that Ole Miss got the snot beat out of us by Mississippi State...not fun!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am so excited that my entire family is coming for Thanksgiving this week! If you have a GFS marketplace close by, you have to get some butter shaped liked a turkey. It is so cute!
Here are some pictures of Thanksgiving pasts...
