HAPPY EASTER!!!!

Happy Easter to all my Blog Peeps!

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend. We stayed in Nashville this year and it was sad not to be with my Mississippi family, but we did spend it with my in-laws, and lots of our good friends.

Here are my sweet babies all dressed up in their "Sunday best"... Paisley's dress is Iris and Ivy from Nordstrom's, Stride Rite shoes, and gloves and bow from The Little Cottage in Franklin, TN. Griffin is wearing all Baby Gap, except his tie, that belonged  to his cousin Joe. His shoes are Sperry Top Siders.

I am partial, but I thought they looked very cute!

Thank you Mrs. Marte for snapping a family photo at church for me.
This is the only one I have from the entire day!

My sweet babies!

The Easter Bunny definitely came for a visit! He brought bubbles, books, a few pieces of candy, a jump rope, whoopie cushions, slime, make-up, coloring books and crayons, a Barbie, a baseball glove, a gun, a fishing pole, and some movies!

Paisley was VERY excited about Wreck It Ralph!

Griffin was very excited about weapon and the candy!
On Saturday, our friends Erika and Jamie, hosted an Easter egg hunt at their beautiful home. We had so much fun and the ran held off just in time! They hid 600 eggs and served donuts and juice. The kids loved it!

Paisley is an egg hunting professional!

Griffin is not real sure about the egg hunting, but he L-O-V-E-S to eat candy. Ha.
Doesn't he look cute? He is obsessed with these green shoes! You can find them here:

My sweet babies! Don't you love my Stella bracelet? You can find it here:
My dress is from Dillard's. You can find it right here!
Paisley is on a mission! Ha.

We enjoyed church at First Baptist Nashville and afterwards, lunch at our house.

Our friends Jeff and Amy came for lunch with their 4 kids (pics below)
Grammy and Pappy also came. We had a glorious time!

We had a smorgasbord of items….baked tilapia with crabmeat, ham, salad, green beans, deviled eggs, fruit salad, hash brown casserole, corn pudding, rolls, Coca-cola Cake, Caramel cake, and Carrot Cake Cupcakes. I am starting to get hungry just thinking about it!

Afterwards, we had a small egg hunt indoors. Rain on Easter should be outlawed!

Aren't they all just too cute for words?!

THIS AND THAT

Last Sunday night, we went to see The Gettys at The Ryman.
You can check their music out here. They are fabulous!
Ricky Skaggs came out as a special guest!
It was a very memorable St. Patricks Day for sure!
Is anyone watching Dancing With The Stars?
I am watching this season, and I am loving it so far.
I am pulling for Dorothy Hamill. I think she is so beautiful...

I am also planning Griffin's Birthday Party. It is a monster theme, which is so stinking fun. I am having it this year at Glow Galaxy, so there is only so much I am allowed to do (BOO!), but it is way easier than having a party at home. There is so little clean up and that part I love. Hopefully next year we will be in a new house, and I will have a massive backyard and I can go crazy!

Here is a little more of my inspiration!

I am also loving JC Penny's new line, Joe Fresh.
I have picked up some really cute stuff lately!

I have also been spending WAY too much time on Polyvore lately, I absolutely loooove styling outfits for Spring! So superfun...

Most of this is from Tarjay...YES. You read that correctly!
And this too! More Tarjay!
I love all these spring colors together.
I am a big fan of basics because then you can dress it up with accessories!

Another Tarjay find.....This Prabal Gurung dress
 that I am obsessed with.
The necklace is pricey but you can find ones similar on eBay.
More Tarjay basics! Yes, you can find LOTS of this at Target.
The jeans, a knock-off JCrew top...
And I know, my accessories are high, but there are lots and lots of less expensive options at
Forever 32, TJMaxx, and Target. I am totally digging these knock-off Valentino Steve Madden pumps!

I love this basic navy dress, that you can dress up or down!
And Stella has so many options that go with it! I love this Maldives necklace from Stella! You can buy it here.
And more fun clothes!
How cute is that little clutch with the pink face?! LOVE.

More Tarjay LOVE. I am a big fan of the Prabal Gurung line.
It all just works so well together.
I am also really digging those Nine West heels!

I am really loving my mint jeans from Kohls.
Old Navy has them, too. You can find them here

These jeans are so versatile! They look great with so many colors.

A new read? Give Them Grace.
A fabulous book and I am only 1/10th of the way through!

Some other updates around the Goody household:

Gus Goode is doing well, and so is Archie. Archie is very jitterish. That is why he isn't in many pics. I am usually holding him!

Muffin l-o-v-e-s some Jason's Deli Ice Cream and
Pumpkin Muffins. We usually hit up Jason's after church on Sunday. My kids call this the "salad place" ha.

Stephen also just finished another half marathon. He ran the Tom King a few Saturday's ago, along with my friend, Courtney. Courtney has the cutest blog, you should check it out here. She has become a VERY good friend because our kids go to pre-school together. She is precious.

Stephen did fantastic! He finished in 1.41...
As in, he ran 7 to 8 minute miles. I don't know if I will ever be able to run that fast unless someone is chasing me! Ha.
I am so proud of him! Love him so much!...

I hope you are all doing well and
hopefully are surviving this crazy cold Spring weather.
I would like to have a word with ol' Phil the Groundhog.
Early spring my _____!!!!

Happy Sunday!
XOXO-

INTRODUCING THE NEWEST GOODY'S...OUR GUINEA PIGS, ARCHIE AND GUS!

So about a month ago, I walk in the door from a successful Stella and Dot party to a very quiet house. For a minute, I thought everyone was asleep and was amazed! Way to go Stephen! Way to handle those kids and being "in charge" on Friday night. I am assuming they stopped for pizza and frozen yogurt. And a guinea pig. Wait? WHAT! Yeah, not so much. I walked to the top of the stairs and see the biggest cage you can imagine=Paisley talked her daddy into a guinea pig and about $200 worth of accessories for "Gus"...Paisley is on Cloud nine hundred. Stephen on the other hand was headed to the dog house. HOWEVER, those sweet little faces started to grow on me!!!

So friends, meet Archie! Archie was the second guinea pig purchased, after Gus. You see, Stephen convinced me that Gus would die without a companion. SO off we go for a second one. Can't you hear the excitement in my voice?!!? SARCASM!

And here's Gus!

Paisley basking in her fantastic selling skills!

Our friend Gracyn feeding an apple to Gus!

Sweet Gus!

Gus just chilling in the doll house!

 Paisley's friend Collier holding Gus!

Poor little guinea pig is probably like, "Please take me back to the pet store!!"

 Daddy loves them the most!

The newness has not worn off YET! And we are a month into this!!

Hope you enjoyed the Guinea Pig photos! We are truly about one animal away from a full Zoo! Ha.

XOXO-
