Happy MONDAY!!
2 cups | Thinly sliced onions |
1 tablespoon | Melted butter |
1 tablespoon | Olive oil |
1 teaspoon | Crushed dill weed |
Salt and pepper to taste | |
4 | Halibut steaks (4-6 oz each) |
Combine onions, butter, olive oil, dill weed, salt and pepper in 9-inch square baking dish. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until onions begin to brown. Season halibut, if desired; place on onion mixture and top with a few of the onion slices. Bake 10-15 minutes or until fish flakes when tested with fork. Serves four.
If you are NOT into fish, this is a great one to start with. It has NO FISH taste. It is very very rich.
Give it a try!
We cooked this with grilled cabbage and sweet potatoes!
YUMM-O!
XOXO-
KJ
