MONDAY MONDAY....

My morning consisted of a workout, a huge poop courtesy of Griffin, snot and spit up also by Griff. An outfit change for him. An argument with Paisley about why we can't wear Crocs to school, and the finale: Griffin ripping the door stop off the wall. Make that 2 door stops. Its gonna be a 2 Coke Zeroer kinda day...

It really amazes me when I think I've had a really great food day and then I am reminded of what all I ate by writing it down...YIKES!!!The sweets KILL me!!The fruit, power bar, and bananas alll add up. Then frozen yogurt. Not good.I will do better tomorrow. I promise ;)


Weekend Recap:On Friday nights, we have a ritual...gymnastics, pizza, and Menchies (frozen yogurt) with the family and Stephens parents. So fun!!!Saturday was a lazy day. Paisley spent the night with Grammy and they had quite the slumber party. It is nice to have just Griffin to spoil at times...he is soooo fun right now!


I am also Ebaying like crazy, so this weekend I was also mailing like crazy...Late afternoon, we had a birthday party on Saturday at Chik Fil A for Paisleys friend Emily. It was a princess party and Paisley loved it!! Griffin also went and ate enough strawberry cake to kill him.We made gumbo Saturday night and watched Inception and I have never been more confused in my life! Ha! I basically Ebayed the entire movie I was so lost!

Sunday, we visited Brentwood Baptist. It is a megachurch but a good one. Pray for us... Making changes are not always easy, and I'm struggling with this decision. FBC has been my home forever and it is so hard. We are simply trying to find something closer to Brentwood.We also went to the park and enjoyed this wonderful warm snap of weather...hopefully it is warmer where you live, too!!!

I also snagged this Tory Burch cuff this week on E-bay....ole Tory is opening a store at Green Hills. WOOOOO HOOO. ANd Michael Kors...... a double woo hoo.

I went to my first Stella and Dot party this week. Oh. My. Word. Expensive? Check. Cute? Check.

These earrings came home with me....

And so did this monogram necklace. I bought the gold, with my babies initials on it. Love it!

I didn't buy this. But I want it. Stay tuned...

And Baby Gap continues to suck all my money away.....

MY SWEET MUFFIN...

My sweet Muffin is going to be 10 months on Tuesday, wahhhhhh!

I know he will hate me for that name when I am on the soccer field yelling, "GO MUFFIN, SCORE A GOAL!"HAHA....

Ohhhhh, boy. He just steals my heart with every grin, dimple, smile, laugh, hug, kiss, the list goes on and on. His cute little tooshie and boy parts are just the sweetest things! HAHA! I am his mama so I can say those things....you boys of mamas know what I am talking about. He is my soul mate. I dare some girl to break his heart. I will tear her apart :) Sweetly, of course.

Okay, I will stop now before you all vomit.

On a lighter note, Griffin is sleeping much better now that we are over RSV and the pukes.

He is eating some serious table food. As in, scrambled eggs, muffins, fruit, noodles, peaches, macaroni, prime rib. Just kidding. The boy loves sweets. He fits in well at this house.

Griffin is wearing a size 3 diaper, size 3/4 shoe, 9-12 months clothes, and weighs 18 pounds.

He loves to move! He wants down and to crawl and sit up. And pull up. And stand. But no steps. He also loves his Fisher Price house, his race track my sister bought him, and his stuffed monkey. He also loves to push and pull things and beat on things.

His favorite snack is Gerber Cheese puffers and yogurt melts....And bananas...

He loves to clap his hands, give high-fives, give raspberry kisses, and roll his tongue...

He has two bottom teeth.

He is saying mama, dada, uh oh, and the tongue roll....

BIRTHDAY AND CIRCUS TIME....

Like most of the country, we are sooooo tired of snow. At first, I love it! It is so pretty and I like having an excuse to stay home for a few days. But after the 4th snow, I am over it! The roads are ice, working is a pain, and the kids are stir crazy and sick. That about sums it up!!

This weekend, Stephen had a National Sales Meeting in Florida, so I packed up the kids and we headed to my see my friend, Kim . Kim's little boy Jack had his 3rd birthday party and the theme was SUPERHEROS!

This is his birthday cake made by his mom. She is one of the best cake makers around! Unfortunately, she is retired!




They also bought a beautiful home in Wartarce, Tennessee and they have been decorating and renovating.....

How gorgeous is this dining room?





Kim made this wreath out of coffee filters, and I am determined to make one myself....stay tuned!



I love this sweet picture of Bruce Wayne and Griffin. Griffin loves older kids to play with him. And Jack is so into babies! It was too cute!!

Sunday night, I had a date to the circus with Paisley. She was so excited for the pre-show and getting to dance to Boom Boom Pow and eat cotton candy!!




She was thrilled about her outfit! It came from Judy's in Lebanon, Tennessee. It is made by Peaches N Cream....

Paisley was not sure about the clowns....she liked her outfit but wasn't sure about her face...

This is one of the Romanian dancers in the show...Paisley LOVED her!!

I CLEARLY HAVE ISSUES....

Yes, I have issues. The birthday parties are out of control for me. They are to me what animals and magazines are to hoarders. I cannot get enough of a theme! And now we have Etsy....an entire website devoted to overpriced paper goods, custom costumes and outfits, personalized cupcake wrappers, the list goes on and on...


I knew that I had reached the crazy point this week when I called Gwen castle (a local castle in Franklin, Tennessee) to see if it was available to rent for Paisley's birthday party....ha!! This was the castle where Taylor Swift's video Romeo and Juliet was filmed....I know. This party bug is bad!

Paisley's theme this year is Rapunzel. I am having so much fun planning......There are some great ideas with the colors, flowers, and tower that Rapunzel lived in....

I found these adorable cupcake toppers at Etsy. I love them!

I am attempting to make cake pops this weekend....I will fill you all in on the outcome...

I also love this cupcake table with the tulle skirt....just precious!!

I absolutely love this Rapunzel cake....I am so glad I found this picture on the web....I am hoping Puffy Muffin can make something similiar....

GOLDEN GLOBES 2011 RECAP...

Okay seriously, these folks needed some Rachel Zoe and Brad....

Okay, my Best Dressed goes to January Jones....This dress is straight up hotness...and I love me some Mad Men...I mean, if I looked like her, I would have gone naked....just saying...

I was not crazy about the black shoes...would have done gold or nude...

I am pretty sure my sister wore this dress to prom in 1987 and the theme was "Heaven Isn't Too Far Away"...and it was on a spray-painted backdrop. Ugh. Gross. She looks great. the dress....not so much...




This was a close second for ugliest.....Her hair looks horrid and Lea Michelle is beautiful.

And this fabric looks wrinkled and a big blob of mess....She is WAY too pretty and has a great figure for this dress...



There are not even words for this. This looked like something from a summer sales wrack at Dillards...Totally washes her out.....

I loved this but I hate that crazy rose. And Natalie Portman's speech was just as crazy?! Youtube it!

Sandra looked okay, but the bangs looked AWFUL. ANOTHER throw back to the 80s....YUCK.
