SUPPLIES:
Modge Podge
Acrylic Paint
Paint brushes
Canvas Size of your choice
Picture Size of your Choice (same as canvas)
Paint the edge of your canvas with acrylic paint. Black or white works best.
After the paint on the edge dries, cover your entire canvas in modge podge and lay your picture on top of Modge Podge.
After it dries, Modge Podge the top. Yes, you are painting the top of the photo with Modge Podge. Make sure you use a normal amount, not too much.
You don't want it caked on your photo and make sure you apply it up and down on the canvas.
With the edge of your brush sideways,
lightly smudge acrylic paint around the photo along the top and bottom and in the corner.
This will give the picture a "distressed" look...
And TAH-DAH! You have a 16x20 photo canvas that was under $10.00 (I already had the Modge Podge and the paint, canvas was on sale at Michaels for $7.00 and the photo was $2.00 at Costco).....
HAPPY CRAFTING!!!
XOXO-
KJ

Totally doing this, I had been looking up prices for canvas and they aren't cheap. I'm going to mod podge the ones for the boys' rooms, so glad you posted this!
