When You WIsh Upon A Star...

I am about to embrace on the Disney planning for October. Griffin is going to stay here with his Grammy and Pappy, so it will just be me, Stephen, and the princess. Trying to figure out what resort makes me want to break out in hives. Planning for Disney is very overwhelming. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! We are just going for three nights, so not very long. But still! LOTS and LOTS to decide on!!
Hope you all had a great weekend!!

PS-How cute are these ETSY outfits?!

My family specializes in the Disney vacay, even now that my brother and I are in our 20s! Ha! You genuinely can't go wrong with any of the resorts, but from what I've read...you seem like a Grand Floridian kind of girl. It's right on the monorail line and you can even get Magic Kingdom view rooms so you can watch the fireworks from your own balcony. Also they have a Cinderella hosted dinner and a Mary Poppins breakfast (my favorite as a little girl). Of course, you can go to the character hosted meals regardless of the hotel you stay at. Oh, The Contemporary has a pretty fun Chef Mickey breakfast too. Ha! I'll stop with the Disney obsession now. Happy planning!

so we just did Disney with my brothers kids. first time we've been with kiddos. let me give you a little advice from someone who has been 6 times but only once with kids AND read two books on doing Disney with kids: Magic Kingdom! its the fav with the little ones. MGM/Hollywood Studios only had a few things they liked such as Toy Story and Ariel's show. But the big tip is: if you can't get a Princess meal scheduled in the castle (people reserve them several months in advance), the best kept secret is Princess dinner at Norway in Epcot.

I know, I know. You're thinking what I did, this is going to be sappy and we are getting sloppy seconds but let me tell you, it was AWESOME, PRIMO time with each Princess at our table AND a free pic taken with one as you enter the restaurant and as far as food, it was the best we had while dining in Disney (grilled pork chop with fruit chutney is FINE!!!)

Also, invest in the stroller if you don't take your own. It's a must!!!

Ok, enough of my Disney drama. Hope ya'll have a great time!!

P.S. The Disney Dining Plan is the bomb!

Hey KJ! We are going in September and cannot wait! FYI the dining plan is free in Aug 15-Oct 2 if you could move your trip up a few weeks. We are going Sept 24-Oct 1. We have an awesome travel agent that we use every year. She specializes in Disney travel, and she knows everything you could ever want to know about disney. Shoot her an email...she is so sweet...you will love her. Christine@lovethemousetravel.com

Happy Planning!

I am so not willing to venture to Disney with this crew. We've been to Orlando three times, never to Disney with them. I would need to pack an additional bag just for mommy with Xanax and vodka.
