Delta Wedding

We celebrated the wedding of my cousin Julianne today in Jackson, Mississippi and WOW was it a fun party!
It was a blowout and I expected nothing less!!

Here are some pictures of the glorious festivities:

Julianne and her mother, Susan. Susan and my mother Gaye are sisters.

Julianne is an only child, so she is like a sister to me!

My Aunt Susan and my mom. Do you think they favor?
To make matters even more confusing, they both teach at Ole Miss and both teach nursing.
Yummy Strawberry Cake from Primos. These pictures are of the Bridesmaids Luncheon.

Yummy Shrimp and Grits at The Old Capitol Inn.
Me and my mama. I love her so much....
Magnolia Room
Me and Julianne
Rehearsal at Church.
Julianne and all her bridesmaids. All of these girls are attorneys, except for Erin (the one on the end in black), she is a senior pharmacy student...
Paisley in her Ole Miss dress....The Rehearsal Dinner was all Red and Blue and Ole Miss Theme....The groom is from the delta and he is VERY VERY VERY Southern. I love it.
Pictures of the Fairview Inn....This home was featured in The Help by Kathryn Stockett
My daddy and Paisley opening her flower girl gift, Barbie bride...
The groom's family hosted a cocktail hour before the rehearsal dinner. It was so nice. They had a raw oyster bar, crab claws, crab crustinis, and a full bar. We had a great time! These are pictures of The Fairview home. Absolutely stunning.
All of the decorations were in Red and Blue for Ole Miss....I am ready for football season!!
More pictures of The Fairview. Stephen and I spent our wedding night here. It is so beautiful!!

Paisley befriended the gentleman at our table. She could tell he was a grandpa.
The wedding party! They got married at 10:30, and the bridesmaids wore tea length Tiffany blue dresses. They were so chic. I love the Cutaway tuxes, also.
My sweet Julianne!! I love her so much!!
The bride's parents...
Paisley and Julianne
Releasing pre-wedding jitters...I think I re-did her hair about 10 times!!!
Julianne was the calmest bride ever!! She never got nervous. I was nervous for her. HA! Her gown was stunning. It was a Monique Lhuillier and it was made for her! Simply breathtaking!!

Chris and Paisley!
The reception at The Old Capitol Inn...
The groom's table was all Ole Miss...
Julianne and Chris have a dog named Annabelle that is so spoiled!! They gave out dog bones for favors and made a contribution to The Human Society in lieu of favors. It was cute!
I loved the Groom's table...I thought it was so cute. Chris' mom did a great job.
The groom's cake featured the Ole Miss Lyceum.
The bride and groom!
The bridesmaids and friends.....
My sweet Joe and Paisley...
All the delicious food....they had crab cakes, potato balls, smoked salmon and capers, tomato sandwiches, quiche, brie, crawfish etoufee, shrimp creole, shrimp and grits, a french toast station, and on and on!!
So many yummy Southern delights!!
Julianne and the girls dancing!
Getting ready to leave for the honeymoon....
Paisley played the tambourine out with the jazz band that was fabulous....They left to Dixie, of course....
Notice the law ads painted on the car...Chris is in law school as well!
The band Dr. Jazz from New Orleans!!
The Old Capitol Inn courtyard...

We had such a fun time celebrating this weekend. I can't believe my baby cousin is married!! Chris is a gem and I am so happy is becoming apart of our family (his toast to her was the sweetest thing EVER!!)

We are heading back to Nashville in the morning. Griffin stayed behind with his Grammy since Stephen had to travel this week for work and I didn't think I could bring both of them by myself and wrestle them since Paisley was a flower girl and all!

Wish me luck as I start back to work Monday. I am excited, sad, and nervous all at the same time!!

I hope you had a fabulous weekend!!

XOXO-
KJ
